Dear friends

At the beginning of December we took three days off.

I didn’t take many photos, but I captured the moments in my memory.

I watched a cloud being born between  the mountains of  Peloponnese.

I saw green trees, pines, firs, chestnuts. I saw cultivations of olives, apples, vines.

I heard church bells, conversations, the laughter of my friends.

I smelt wood-burning  fireplace.

I tasted local cheeses and meats.

Raindrops and drops of mist fell on my face. My cheeks blushed from the cold...

And then we returned to our activities: Stefanos in pressing the olives to produce olive oil and I in the meetings, consultations, proposals for the "reconstruction" of Evia.

Exposure to nature is healing.

There are not only sights worth seeing, but also sounds worth hearing.

Let’s practice our hearing. Let’s emphasize to the sounds.

Vision has taken center-field, sidelining all other senses.

The sounds of the city have become noise which causes stres, while nature sounds are relaxing.

Another reason to come to Rovies. Birds, frogs, rustling leaves, splashing waves… sounds that will calm you down.

Read the research that confirms it.

It gives us such a joy when the handmade gifts of " eleonas” are useful. This way we keep in touch, even from a distance.

Thank you George and Gabbie

Cheers to health, happiness, and prosperity in 2022!
