At a recent "Greek Breakfast" event in Chalkida, hosted by the Evia Hoteliers Association, I had the opportunity to speak about a crucial issue.

I hope I played a small part in raising awareness among colleagues about reducing food waste.

Back at the estate, they are grafting the burnt trees. It is an ancient craft that requires hands that truly know and care for the trees.

New life will sprout from the already strong roots, eventually producing fine Kalamata olives.
